Speaker, Educator and Author
Pierre has worked closely with individuals and organizations from vastly different sectors and industries, and has taken his expertise on-air with the CBC. He is an award winning author and has delivered hundreds of workshops and keynotes. He has provided counsel to managers and management teams to improve the performance and develop the leadership skills of 10's of thousands of people.
He is a long time workplace columnist and nationally syndicated broadcaster for CBC/Radio-Canada, a TEDx presenter and is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers.
His book Humanity at Work, Leading for Better Relationships and Results is published by Los Angeles based Wonderwell Press and was released in Canada, the US, the UK and in Australia in September 2020. Humanity at Work won the gold medal in the Business and Leadership category at the 2020 Nautilus Book Awards in the US.
Pierre has spoken to audiences across Canada and in the United States. He has provided training for UNB's College of Extended Learning and l’Université de Moncton’s Continuing Education Department as well as a number of private and public sector employers and associations.
Pierre has been awarded his CSP™ (Certified Speaking Professional) from the US-based National Speakers Association, a designation that a very small percentage of speakers worldwide can claim. He was recognized as the HR Professional of the year by his peers at the Human Resources Association of New Brunswick.
He has occupied senior management roles with some of Canada’s leading employers including the Atlantic Lottery Corporation, Assumption Mutual Life and as a managing partner with KBRS, one of Canada’s premier HR Consulting firms. He was previously an assistant professor of management at Mount Allison University.
Pierre is fluently bilingual, he holds an MBA from l’Université de Moncton and a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of New Brunswick. He is also a certified management consultant (CMC) and a certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP).
